How this all started out was when my venetian blind's lift cord was broken, I was (like you) finding someone to repair it for me. However, it was to my surprise that to get the supplier to repair was almost out of the question, in terms of their willingness to do so as well as the cost of repair! To change out the entire blind that was still in good condition seem insensible too (not forgetting that the discarded blind would almost certainly end up in the pile of human trash).

Hence, this kicked off my little adventure on fixing blinds...
